UC Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive (BAM/PFA) will be screening two distinct, but related films from Ari Marcopoulos, who we recently saw open his ‘Within Arms Reach’ exhibition (which continues to run until February next year). Former assistant to Andy Warhol; Ari, who is now a successful film artist in his own right, will take you through nearly 20 years of footage over two uniquely presented films, meeting with artists, skaters, snowboarders, musicians and more. The first film, ‘Black eyes and Blue skies’ is to be shown November 11, exactly a week before the second film ‘Loud and Clear’.
